    Great job Charles!

  2. That’s honestly the first time anyone’s ever pronounced my name that way. I’ve heard JACK-with, juh-KEETH, juh-KOOTH, juh-KWITH… 95% of people mispronounce it, so don’t feel bad. ;-)

  3. Maria Langer says:

A quick comment…I just tracked down a version of Andreas and modified it to match a brochure for my helicopter charter company. The finished product is perfect — but it wouldn’t have been so without a great theme to start off with. Thanks for the theme!

Anyone interested in the thought processes that went into adapting the theme for use on a CMS Web site (vs. a regular blog) can read about it at http://www.wpvqs.com/. It’s a multi-part series with articles released weekly.

Oh — I almost forgot! — thanks for mentioning our book!

  4. Andreas says:

Thanks for mentioning my theme, and thanks to Maria for giving it a chance. :)

  5. Miraz Jordan says:

As for names: you got mine just right – a rare event. Thanks.

Thanks too for mentioning the book and accompanying website. We want to make something that’s useful for the WordPress community.

  6. Very nice episode Charles! Keep up the good work :)

I love the episode. I happen to like that song, but I don’t know the name of it (anyone help me out on that?) It looks like some of the shuttle project is already integrated in WP 2 and even more so in the 2.1 trunk. You can correct me if I’m mistaken.

  9. Tom says:

I subscribed via iTunes but episode 2 didn’t download automatically. Also, iTunes doesn’t even show that there is an episode 2 available. Glad I found it! Thanks.

    @John Piercy,

After taking a quick look at the source code, it appears that he is using Podpress for the MP3 player. A quick search on Google will send you to http://www.mightyseek.com/podpress/ and the download for the software is located there.

This podcast episode still doesn’t appear in the iTunes podcast stream. Only Episode 1 is appearing. Am I missing something?

  16. simon says:

I can not seem to get any of the podcasts to download through itunes to me. It keeps telling me that there arent any new episodes.

  17. Michael says:

I also have had problems with the iTunes feed. Episode 1 is the only one showing up as an episode on the iTMS.

Love the idea of the show can’t wait for more episodes to come out. Thanks so much for all your hard work Charles!

  18. Sara says:

Yes, like the others, I do not see episode 2 in iTunes, and I cannot download episode 1 in iTunes. But I can listen on your website just fine.

I’m using iTunes 6.0.5 on a Mac OS X 10.4.7, if that is helpful info.

    Thanks!

  19. David says:

Hey Charles, David from BloggingPro here. I would love to help you work on this podcast in any way you need. Let me know,

    Thanks,

  20. Jim says:

    Hello Charles,

Great podcast! It is an important service to the wordpress community.

If I might make one suggestion, though. It should come out regularly – weekly, every ten days, monthly, etc. – whatever you choose.

As a listener, I’d be glad to contribute, although I’m not sure what, or in what form, that would be. Let us know.

    Jim

  21. _ck_ says:

Thanks for doing this service, great job.

The 2.1 info was the first decent summary I have read/heard anywhere.

My only issue might be with the monotone sound of your reading. I am guessing this is on purpose to try to communicate clearly and some people might like it, but hey it’s WordPress, we’re supposed to be *excited* about it :) Pretend you are reading a story to a child about a magical dragon or something like that and then make WordPress the magic dragon!

ps. Will someone record/podcast any of the presentations at WordCamp?

  22. Tobias says:

    Great Shows!

I am very interested in the Shuttle-Project but the information out on the net are not very good to understand Who is workin on What, funded by Whom and Why and When it will be there…

Would be great to listen to an interview with one of the Shuttle-People!!!
