Okay, here’s the episode…
I’ll be writing the show notes when I have some time.
Fair warning: The entire episode clocks in at over 1 hour 20 minutes because we had so much material to slog through. Rest assured, as soon as I am able, I’ll be posting it.

Regarding Simon’s question asked on the podcast - you don’t need to go into phpmysql or do anything fancy to rename the Admin account. It can be done very easily from the admin panel.
First create a new account with your choice of username and give it administrator rights. Sign off from the admin account & sign in using the new account. Delete the admin account and take the option to reassign all of admin’s existing posts to your new account.
Michael’s suggestion has the slight advantage, from the security-through-obscurity perspective, of giving your admin user another numerical ID than the default, making it harder for a cracker to figure out which user account is the admin account.
@Björn: The change of the user ID in the database will have no effect on the security of the blog. It’s only used for linking the various database tables (for example linking a post to user name).
